Horse of a Lifetime examines the unique bond between people and horses, chronicling sixty special relationships between Canadian horsemen and women and their most significant and beloved equine friends. Dr. Helen Douglas, an Ottawa Valley equine veterinarian and lifelong horsewoman, traveled from coast to coast across Canada to interview horse people about their connection to their favourite horse.
As Graphic Designer and Desktop Publisher on this project, I worked closely with Dr. Douglas to create the book and prepare files for printing including the book cover, 344 pages of text and over 700 photographs.
